Had a fantastic time with friends! We cycled by the river and enjoyed our stay. The cozy pub was a great retreat from the rain, and the staff were super friendly. Don't miss the delicious breakfast. Just a heads up, it can get chilly in the rooms, but they provide extra heaters.

One downside was that the bus service didn't run on Sundays, so planning for that was a bit tricky. Best to book a taxi in advance if you're heading out that day.

The noise from thin walls ruined my sleep experience, and the bathroom cleanliness was subpar. A bit more attention to detail could elevate the overall experience!!!

the ship inn is a charming old stone building by the river. we had a lovely room with excellent views across the water and it was spotless. the staff were super friendly and made our stay memorable. we enjoyed sampling local real ales and the food was large and fair priced.

I had a lovely stay at this charming old inn by the river. The room was comfortable and the views across the water were beautiful. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the atmosphere feel warm and inviting. The only downside was that the breakfast could use some improvement, as it was a bit basic.

the ship inn is perfectly located right by the river. our double room was lovely and warm, with a comfy bed that gave us a great night's sleep. the staff were super friendly and helpful, especially the bar staff who resolved my computer issue. we enjoyed dinner and loved the salted caramel cheesecake!

It was just a solid selection for a weekend rest in York with best value. We enjoyed sitting in the beer garden with good food and drinks. Make sure to check if food is served late on weekdays.
